History of Ancol Dreamland
Ancol Dreamland was established in 1966. This park is more commonly called Ancol. By the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta, Ancol is then intended as an integrated tourism area. Furthermore, the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta also appointed PT Pembangunan Jaya as the body that carried out the construction of the Ancol tourism project. PT Pembangunan Jaya as the Development Executing Agency is working on the project in stages, adjusted to the increasing state of the national economy and people's purchasing power.
As the development of the company increased, then in 1992 the status as the Development Executing Agency changed to PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol. This was done according to amendment letter No. 33, July 10, 1992. The share ownership and percentage also changed, namely 20% of the shares owned by PT Pembangunan Jaya and 80% of the shares owned by the DKI Jakarta Regional Government. On July 2, 2004 Ancol implemented "go public" and changed its status to PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, Tbk.
With a share of 72% owned by the DKI Jakarta Regional Government, 18% PT Pembangunan Jaya and 10% of the community. Taking steps to go public aims to increase the company's performance.
